Zaamin National Park

Waste segregation and recycling

🌿 Main Principle: “Take Back What You Brought!”

1. Proper Waste Management and Ecological Culture

Every visitor to the Zomin National Nature Park must take an active role in protecting nature.
All waste should be disposed of only in designated areas, sorted properly, and recycled whenever possible.
This is the civic duty of every responsible person.

❌ The following are strictly prohibited:
  • Organizing picnics outside designated areas;
  • Discarding waste outside of approved disposal sites;
  • Using flammable liquids and leaving their containers behind;
  • Burning waste or starting fires to dispose of garbage;
  • Using synthetic detergents in natural water bodies;
  • Burying or hiding waste in the ground.
✅ The following rules must be observed:
  • Take all waste you bring with you back when leaving;
  • Use only designated waste bins and containers;
  • If staying for an extended period, bring your own (preferably paper) waste bag and take it back with you;
  • Sort your waste: paper, plastic, organic materials separately;
  • Respect and maintain cleanliness in the natural environment.

♻️ Sort your waste properly:
paper — for recycling, plastic — for reuse, organics — back to nature.
Sorting waste is not just a habit — it’s a form of respect for nature.

2. Responsibility for Violations

Individuals who violate environmental protection or natural resource usage rules
within the territory of the Zomin National Nature Park
are subject to administrative or criminal liability in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Illegal dumping, fire setting, tree damage, or water pollution are subject to
fines and other legal measures.
Every visitor must uphold and contribute to ecological culture.
